    The Business

    91±¬ÁÏ Captive & Insurance Management Solutions (¡°CIMS¡±) is a global team of risk finance, accounting, and insurance administration experts. We provide an integrated approach and a unique perspective to unlock potential in organizations¡¯ risk financing strategies through captives and other insurance facilities. We are located where our clients need us, with captive management teams in domiciles around the world, and risk financing and captive consulting specialists in geographies where organizational risk strategies are evolving.

    Approximately 330 captives are under 91±¬ÁÏ management globally with combined gross premiums in excess of $20.6 billion and total client captive assets of $57 billion.
    CIMS has over 200 dedicated employees, including qualified accountants, risk finance specialists, captive strategy consultants, underwriting and claims specialists, compliance and governance specialists and risk management specialists.

    The Role

    • Manage the day-to-day delivery of captive insurance services and be the point of contact within 91±¬ÁÏ, for the nominated client companies, in relation to all insurance and claims activities.
    • Review premium and claims data/reports, maintain/update premium tracker and claims bordereaux, reconcile bordereaux to cash payments, arrange for payment of claims and develop claims analysis for presentation to Board of Directors and/or other interested parties.
    • Prepare certificates of cover and endorsements as required.
    • Provide accurate and timely underwriting information for preparation of Management
    • Accounts and Financial Statements.
    • Monitor the adherence to EU general good requirements and ensure IPT is properly settled.
    • Attendance and presentation at client meetings.
    • Liaise with the parent company, regulator, insurers, brokers, reinsurers, auditors, directors, lawyers¡¯ actuaries etc. to fulfil the above responsibilities
    • Ensure compliance with 91±¬ÁÏ internal controls.

    Qualifications

    • CIP (Chartered Insurance Professional) qualification is required.
    • Ideally a third level degree and/or relevant insurance qualifications preferrable but not essential.
    • Basic understanding of Central Bank of Ireland regulations under which the Insurance and Reinsurance Captives operate.
    • Demonstrate attention to detail.
    • A high level of competency with Microsoft applications - Word and Excel.
    • Good problem-solving capability within a fast paced - international discipline.
    • Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to prioritize workload.
    • Outstanding inter-personal and communication skills including ability to deliver information in a clear and concise manner.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
