About the TRANZACT Business Team
The business team owns the P&L and drives the results of our organization by working with key stakeholders to increase profitability for TRANZACT. ?Our teams work together to produce valuable results by taking initiative, thinking outside the box, and having a “make it happen” attitude. ?
How the position works
The Director, Business Strategy & Carrier Management’s primary accountability is to actively foster and manage client relationships, while working with other internal and external stakeholders, to achieve desired business results and achievement of financial targets. ?Working alongside the Senior Director, the Director’s responsibilities include:
?????Actively manage client relationships, including running meetings, managing client communications and reporting, and serving as the main liaison between our clients and ? ? ? ?internal teams.
?????Set the broader business strategy and be able to powerfully communicate strategy both internally and externally, and at an executive level.
?????Design, develop and deliver client presentations and Quarterly Business Reviews.
?????Manage internal stakeholders to ensure clean execution of strategic initiatives.
?????Identify and vet new revenue opportunities for existing and new clients.
?????Take lead on contract and compensation negotiations.
?????Monitor KPIs and trends to troubleshoot and identify improvement opportunities.
?????Participate in cross-functional meetings, providing ideas on driving growth, customer retention, and customer experience.
?????Working to become an industry and subject matter expert resource for our organization.

Qualifications
?????Self-starter with a passion to build relationships, problem solve and strategize to drive growth for TRANZACT and its insurance carrier partners.
?????Possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
?????Able to lead, not just manage tasks; think multiple steps ahead to move an initiative forward.
?????Organized and able to work in a fast-paced, highly accountable environment.
?????High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
?????Able to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
?????Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
?????Insurance experience preferred, specifically Health insurance.
?????5+ years of experience in direct-to-consumer marketing, consulting, or agency environment.
?????Ability to travel to client meetings as needed throughout the year.
